Abstract

The article, in the light of judicial federalism, analyzes the problems and prospects of the continued existence of the regional bodies of the constitutional control. The author draws attention to the negative trend of termination of the constitutional (charter) courts in some regions of the Russian Federation. Represented by the problems of the principle of subsidiarity in constitutional proceedings is considered subsidiarity of the constitutional control in relation to the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation and the conclusion of the introduction of new forms of cooperation between the federal and regional bodies of judicial constitutional (charter) control.
