The author examines the place of security in the system of individual rights and the establishment of the mechanisms of ensuring on the basis of the national and international laws, and the methods established in the theory of law. The author comes to the conclusion that security is a legitimate interest of a person but it is not vested in the current legislation and is subject to the state administrative protection by the legal means.
