Abstract |
The article analyzes the national
legislation on criminal responsibility for the theft of motor vehicles and
reveals the problems occurring in the process of classification of various
encroachments. The author examines the current state and trends in vehicle
embezzlement and hijacking. The article also
describes certain changes in the criminal
legislation. The implementation of the proposals stated in the paper will
improve services and units of the internal affairs, help them deal with
criminal offences against vehicles, and will create additional preconditions for the
success of special investigation activities to prevent, combat, and investigate of
vehicle embezzlement and hijacking. |
