Abstract

The article deals with the organizational aspect of the activity of the investigator at the stage of initiation of criminal case and on the initial stage of the investigation, identifies the existing grounds and disadvantages of the time lag between the actual beginning of the investigation and its continuation, as well as proposes measures of improvement and raising efficiency of the organization of criminal investigations of hot pursuit. Reducing the time between the commission of the crime and the actual

start of the criminal investigation is not only the existence of probable inevitability of punishment, but also the increase of the chances of finding traces of the crime, witnesses of the offense, and the possibility of complete, comprehensive, and efficient production of a criminal investigation.
