Abstract

In this article the legal guarantees of the protection of the right to know parents granted by the ar. 54 of the Russian Family Code are reviewed in the context of adoption and artificial insemination. The author examines existing legal norms connected with the regulation of the procedures of artificial insemination and confidentiality of adoption, in particular, the norms of federal laws and substatutory acts in the sphere of healthcare, norms of Family Code and court practice. In this work the author also analyzes the possible legal ways of realization of the right to know parents for adopted and donor-conceived children.
