Abstract

The article is devoted to problems of legislative regulation of supplier’s responsibility for inadequate quality of goods. The author examines basic sources of legal regulation of such relations and analyzes several issues of arbitration practice.

Within the framework of the article the author gives the analysis of legal norms and practice of their application, as well as the analysis of the gaps in the existing in the legislation. Conclusions and suggestions aimed at the development of legislative regulation of goods’ quality are given. The author recommends certain amendments in the norms of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation which regulate the problems of quality of goods.
