Abstract

The article investigates the development trends of foreign legislation on responsibility for crimes related to narcotic drugs illegal trade. Investigation of the issue has not just the theoretical value, but immense practical importance in the sphere of revelation of drug abuse situation trends and assessment of its development. National legislations give an introduction to some of the approaches to the issue solutions. At present drug abuse is considered to be a criminal offence in France, Finland, Greece and Sweden. Herewith in many other countries there is just a partial restraint on drugs abuse. The issue analysis allows drawing a conclusion that global restrictive experience has a distinct social orientation in relation to a drug user (usually a young person) and simultaneously repressive one in relation to a drug dealer.
