Abstract |
The article analyzes the
countermeasures to the religious and political extremism; it examines the
experience of combating these manifestations in Kazakhstan. The paper examines the causes of
religious and political extremism, in particular it introduces the opinion of the
Chairman of Agency for Religious Affairs, Kairat Lama Sharif. The article analyzes the reasons
that have increased the religious and political extremism in Kazakhstan and Russia
in recent years. It provides the statistics in the
sphere of combating religious extremism in Kazakhstan, including the results of
Kazakhstani law enforcement agencies activity in the field. |
