The article defines the limits of the legal regulation of social relations in the field of construction through the study of objects and subjects of these relations. It reveals a content of the concept of capital construction object. The article differentiates the concepts of building, construction, facility, construction in progress. It draws a conclusion about the identity of such concepts as building and construction activity. The paper formulates the conclusion that the scope of legal regulation of social relations in the field of construction includes the relations arising while executing defined by the legislation types of works which result in creation of a capital construction object.
