Abstract

The article dwells on the problem of the improvement of workforce productivity with the help of methods of stimulation not connected with material encouragement. Apart from the material stimulation to work strictly provided by the labour legislation there is non-material motivation: expression of gratitude, awarding of certificate of honour, possibility of advanced training, participation in corporate events, etc. Certain types of encouragement and the procedure of their application are regulated by the Labour Code of the Russian Federation. At the same time the abovementioned list of types of non-material stimulation is not comprehensive and can be enlarged in local statutory acts. The author expresses the number of proposals on more rational usage of methods of non-material influence on an employee.

Keywords

non-material motivation of employees, encouragement of employees, alteration of generations on labour market.
