Abstract

In article prepared for the anniversary of the Russian Constitution the current state, value and public importance of the Constitution of 1993 are analyzed, the points of view concerning its viability from positions of need of reforming of the Basic law or further potential casting of the existing Constitution of Russia are presented.

Gradual system of updating of the Constitution of Russian Federation and  the constitutional legislation is viewed in the development of the progressive and practically realizable constitutional ideas faced into the future and capable of finding adequate expression in the Constitution and the constitutional legislation of the Russian Federation.
