Abstract

This article touches on the peculiarities of the criminal and legal characteristics of a criminal who commits violent crimes against property by performing the comparative analysis of criminal law of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan. The author defines permanent characteristics of a criminal who commits violent crimes against property. The article presents the analysis of legislative approach to be used to identify the age of criminals who commit violent crimes against property. Furthermore, the author highlights some shortcomings associated with legislative recognition of characteristics of a criminal who commits violent crimes against property, as well as offers its recommendations on how to resolve the current problems.
