Abstract

The author underlines that international and regional cooperation in the sphere of fighting the criminal activity at the modern stage is the goal-oriented proactive activity of different states and other subjects of international relations which combine their efforts and resources to protect their interests against international and national criminal activity by means of joint development and implementation of the predefined objectives and tasks, as well as defining the forms and methods of such activity. Furthermore, the article provides the analysis of existing success and achievements, as well as describes the reserve for improvement of the relevant legal framework at regional and international levels taking into account new challenges and threats.
