Abstract

The article considers the problems of the establishment and development of legislation on human rights and freedoms in constituent units of the Russian Federation. The author analyzes the legislation of constituent units of the Russian Federation and points out that fact that in most constitutions and charters of constituent units of the Russian Federation individual parts are devoted to human rights and freedoms. At the same time, certain regional fundamental laws lack the abovementioned parts on human rights and freedoms. These statutory acts only have articles on the unrestricted operation of human rights and freedoms established by the Constitution of the Russian Federation.

Keywords
