Abstract

The categories of «conflict of interest in the public civil service» and «conflict of interest on municipal service» are considered in the article on the basis of the analysis of the legislation of the Russian Federation and the scientific literature. The article determines the category of conflict of interests in the public civil and municipal services. The ways to improve the legislation in conflict of interests as a way to counter corruption are also considered. The author also dwells on affordable options of the improvement of the legislation of Russian Federation in the area of conflict of interest on state civil and municipal service.
