Abstract

The article is devoted to the purposes of coercive measure of educational influence which are special measures of state coercion applied to minors who committed crimes, as well as to the grounds of liability release of the underage. The Criminal Code of the Russian Federation lacks the statutory act which would establish the goals of coercive measures of educational influence. The author claims that establishment of the goals of coercive measures of educational influence is essential for the determination of their legal nature.
