Abstract

The article analyzes the content of imposition of criminal proceedings. Interest to this subject is caused by the fact that the term «imposition» was firstly used by a legislator. In connection with this fact the interpretation of the notion is considered one of the topical issues of modern criminally-remedial science. The author dwells on the various scientific approaches to the imposition of modern criminal proceedings. As a result the author’s approach towards the perspective is offered. The core concept of the abovementioned approach is the objective needs of human existence in the sphere of criminal proceedings. The imposition of the criminal proceedings is formulated on the basis of the abovementioned needs.
