Abstract

The article defines the interest of a third party not claiming their own independent rights regarding the subject matter of the dispute in civil proceedings. It is noted that the doctrine of civil procedural law has no unity on the issue of the content of this interest. The author concludes that the interest of a third party not claiming their own independent rights may be different in content. The third party without independent claims is involved in the case if the decision of the court may affect his property rights and obligations in respect of one of the parties, as well as in cases where the third party is charged with the duty to protect the public interest by the law.
