Abstract |
More detailed attention is paid to
the state personnel policies in police agencies during the Great Patriotic
War. Special attention is paid to issues of personnel shortage and turnover
due to the mobilization and necessary wartime work-related transitions and
the problem of insufficient professional knowledge and skills due to the lack
of experience in a significant number of police bodies in the initial period
of war. According to the author under these
conditions the police continued to carry out its
functions largely due to the high patriotism and civic qualities of
its employees.
