Abstract

The article analyzes the subject of ecological crimes. Despite the fact that in the theory of criminal law the concept of the object of the crime is developed in sufficient details certain disputable issues still remain. This is especially true for the features of the subject of ecological crimes: should only to the components of the natural environment and the environment in general be considered their subject or should they be referred to the subject as man-made objects? How about those compounds of ecological crimes that violate certain rules or requirements of environmental or other legislation? These and other questions have not found the final solution in the theory of law. The author offers his vision of the problems and offers certain solutions.
