Abstract

The article examines the nature of legal and temporary means in criminal proceedings through the determination of their place and importance in the system of legal means in general. The author analyzes different views on the nature of legal means of the theory of law, and reveals the characteristics and purpose of legal means. The author reveals the relationship of legal means for the purpose of regulatory and legal frameworks. On this basis, the author defines the features of legal and temporary means in criminal proceedings, and gives them definitions.
