Abstract

Crime as a phenomenon always wondered not only specialists of different directions, but for all people. Mankind has lived and lives in fear of crime, and as long as it exists, has been searching and looking for ways and means of combating it. Status and development trend of crime in the Russian Federation are a good criterion to evaluate the actual state of the society and the effectiveness of public administration in the fight against crime in General. The article analyses quantitative descriptions of criminality in the Russian Federation for the last decade period. The author sets forward the idea of decline tendency of criminality in the state.
