Abstract

The article deals with the detailed analysis of the legal essence of a licence contract. On the basis of the Russian and foreign legal experience research, the licence contract is defined as the civil-law contract possessing a set of individualizing features, allowing to consider it as a special type of contract directed at the possibility of effective introduction of intellectual activity results into a civil circulation.
