Abstract |
The article is devoted to the problem of social
security of citizens suffered from the activity of
Production Department ‘Mayak’ and ‘Mayak’ accident.
Overcoming the aftermaths of radioactive accidents
is the top-priority task of the social and
economical development of the Russian Federation.
The aim of the article is to analyze the legal
issues of social security and social welfare of
citizens exposed to radiation as a result of ‘Mayak’
accident and radioactive waste disposal in the river
Techa, in particular with the help of the method of
comparative legal studies. The author formulates a
number of proposals aimed at the improvement of the
legislation on social security of citizens suffered
from radiation. |
