Abstract

The article presents the analytical review of the defined contribution pension system of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the contribution model carried out in June 2013. Problems of the last legislative changes are considered in the context of reformations of 1998 and the following years. Taking into consideration that Kazakhstan was the first country on the post-Soviet territory which started implementing the defined contribution pension system and gained both positive and negative legal experience, the article gives recommendations on the improvement of the legislation in the sphere. Pension system is claimed to be one of the main areas of interest of the balancing of anti-crisis measures on modern stage.
