Abstract

The organizational and legal aspects of the management of social protection of the population as exemplified by different constituent entities of the Russian Federation within the Ural Federal District are analyzed. The general connected with the unity of legal regulation, aims and objectives of social protection is recorded. The specific character regarding the peculiarities of the management of the public relations sphere in the Sverdlovsk and Chelyabinsk Regions is revealed. The social protection in the Sverdlovsk Region is of an exceptionally state nature, the second region has a mixed, state and municipal nature. The advantages and disadvantages, pluses and minuses of different systems of social protection management are specified.
