Abstract

The article deals with the analysis of views of Petr Arkadievich Stolypin. The author comes to the conclusion that for P.A. Stolypin the idea of legal state was one of closet doctrines. Differentiating theoretical issues and the practical problems that the country had to solve, the Prime Minister thought that the creation of various concepts was the challenge for scientists and the subject of scientific research. The “mythologization of Stolypin” leads to the creation of an image of the politician, whose activities were focused solely on building a legal state.

Keywords
