Abstract

This article analyzes the provisions of the Constitution of the Russian Federation on the regulation of innovations. The author highlights the constitutional provisions on the fundamentals of the economic system of society, the political and ideological conditions, social relations in the sphere of science and intellectual property. It is noted that the basic law of Russia is being developed within the framework of the European constitutional tradition. The author draws conclusion that the Constitution of the Russian Federation does not state the provisions on the connection between science and industry, science and the economy, which could be found in the Constitution of the USSR. Moreover, the options of solution of this problem are issued.
