Abstract

This article describes the issues of accreditation and licensing of higher educational institutions, their branches and representative offices arising due to the changes in laws concerning education. The article also gives the analysis of the current state of development of the supervising methods within the sphere of higher education, as well as procedures of accreditation and licensing of higher educational institutions. The author gives her recommendations how to enforce state functions aimed at arrangement and performance of licensing supervision. Furthermore, the article dwells upon different types of accreditation stipulated by the RF law “On Education in the Russian Federation” and provides advices on how to accredit the branches of higher educational institutions.
