Abstract

This scientific article dwells upon the “anti-piracy” law regulations and the main issues of their practical implementation. It also describes the primary peculiarities of law use and development trends taking into account past and current court practice.Furthermore, the author considers the grounds for amending the anti-piracy law of the Russian Federation in order to make it applicable to other copyright-protected items, including literature and musical works, computer programs and databases, as well as some other works except for photographs.The amendments will let the copyright owners apply additional legal tools to fight piracy in the Internet.
