Abstract

This article analyses all elements of military offences pursuant to the new Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan which has come into force since January 01, 2015.The article studies Chapter 18 “Military Criminal Offences” which contains 30 sets of elements of the offences described in articles from 437 through 466. The author outlines the peculiarities of criminal responsibility and punishment for military offences, usage of punishments different from imprisonment for military men, as well as discusses the issues of narrowing and broadening of applying the criminal law regulations of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the military men.
