Abstract

The article considers one of the main components of the process of reformation of the legal system of the Russian Federation – constitutionalization (constitutional modernization) of the Russian judicial system. In connection with this the problem of correspondence of constitutionalism and constitutionalization of law. The author considers the resumptive analysis of the usage of the notion ‘constitutionalization’ in the context of amendments and changes which the international public law undergoes; he also dwells on the interconnection of the notions ‘constitutionalization’ and ‘constitutional legitimacy’ and suggests conceptual definition of constitutionalization of judicial system.
