Abstract

The article deals with such category as victimological crime prevention which is one of the high-priority areas of crime prevention on the modern stage of social development. The author analyzes victimological investigations in which the efforts of the development of theoretical models of victimological influence on crime were taken. The necessity of victimological crime counteractions and preventive measures is proved. The author points out lack of explicit state policy of victimological prevention leads to cumbersome issues in the practice of its implementation. The author suggests a conceptual approach to the problem and claims that victimological preventive measures form the system of victimological crime prevention. The author also gives his own opinion on understanding the notion of victimological crime prevention in Russia.
