The article is devoted to ensuring safety and security of electricity supply in the Federal Republic of Germany, to its administrative, legal, and organizational facilities and measurements. The necessity of studying the principles, forms, and methods of control and supervision in electrical engineering of the FRG, as well as formation of executive authorities and its competences is caused by reformation of public administration in the sphere of power industry. The author focuses the attention on the main principles of ensuring safety and security of electricity engineering and on legal framework of the abovementioned industry; the author also analyzes public and private types of means which exist in the political and legal system of Germany. Forms of administrative control and supervision, as well as competences of executive authorities are also considered. A thorough analysis of statutory acts connected with safety and security of the sphere of electrical engineering in Germany is given.
