Abstract

The article considers the place of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation in the system of state institutions aimed at foreseeing and minimizing constitutional risks. The author also characterizes peculiarities of the social role of the abovementioned court and proves its uniqueness from the point of specific historical and legal positions. Legal and other social aftermaths of risky constitutional decisions, as well as the specifics of the place of the Constitutional Court in separation of powers as in complex and highly risky state environment are defined. The role of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation in regulating legal framework and ensuring its unity is analyzed, as well as the influence of political factors on the activities of the judicial authority of the state power.
