Abstract

The author of the article has conducted a comparative and legal research of some federal laws on the access to information on the activity of bodies of state and local power and on the access to information on the courts of the Russian Federation. General concepts, scope of application, subject structure of legal relations are analyzed. A well-reasoned unification of these laws is proposed. The necessity of amendments in certain definitions is stated, as well as their inconsistence with the law on information. The necessity of bringing the considered laws in accordance with the basic law on information, information technologies, and information security is proved.
