Abstract

The article deals with the problematic issues related to understanding the term of «information harmful for children». Peculiarities of legal classification of harmful information and information harmful to children is analyzed and allocated. The author suggests the classification of information in a broad sense and in relation to the law as of December 29, 2010 No. 436-FZ «On Protection of Children from Information Harmful to their Health and (or) Development». Types of information permitted for distribution to children are also considered and the problematic issues related to certain types of permitted information including advertising are identified. The author defines the objectives of the Federal Law «On Protection of Children from Information Harmful to their Health and (or) Development».
