Abstract

The article studies the problem of complications due to medical errors and patient protection. The author analyzes the irreversibility of the complications that are developed in millions of people because of modern drug therapy. The examples of research on medical errors facilitating the emergence of compli-cations in patients are considered. To clarify the effects of medical errors a comparative analysis of spontaneous reports of adverse effects as a result of drug therapy is made.
