Abstract |
This article considers the features of the
interaction of civil society with the parliament
under parliamentary control. The article deals with
the essence of parliament and its exercised
functions, hereupon it’s been concluded that the
parliamentary control is a function inherent to the
parliament of a democratic state, as people
delegating their authority to state bodies have the
right to control the activities of such bodies by
their representatives. The author analyzes the civil
society, characterized by common interests of its
members, due to which the particular importance of
parliamentary control as a lever of influence of
civil society on the executive authorities to
improve the efficiency of their activity is noted.
On the basis of the presented material it’s been
concluded about the interconnection and
interdependence of the existence of civil society
and the implementation of effective parliamentary
control in a democratic state. |
