Abstract

The article dwells on the problem of judicial protection of human rights and freedoms of citizens of the Russian Federation, the right to appeal to the Constitutional Court, and the order of proceeding cases on constitutionality of laws on complaints for violation of constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens. The article gives the classification of human rights and freedoms of citizens, analyzes the statutes and decisions of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation on the issues discussed, the procedure for resolving conflicts between the Constitutional Court and the European Court of Human Rights, and the decisions of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation.
