Abstract

The article discusses theoretical issues associated with the notion of disci-plinary liability of servicemen. The author summarizes current basic approaches to understanding the disciplinary liability of servicemen, are essential features of disciplinary coercion. The author also analyzes the elements of disciplinary responsibility and defines the role and value of disciplinary responsibility in the system of state coercion and the purpose of disciplinary liability. The author’s definition of disciplinary liability of servicemen is also given.
